You Make the Call: Platform Cage Wedge Sandals
I was in Target buying water shoes for my son’s camping trip and found these lovelies.
The leather is better looking in person; matte and not so grainy. Oh, and they’re really comfortable. But I didn’t buy them. I just couldn’t decide if they’re trying too hard, or too young, or too trendy. This is where things get problematic for me as a 40+ person. So, what say you? A-OK, or MDAL (mutton dressed as lamb)? Let me know in the comments. Please.
I want them!! (Does that help?) BTW – I was at Buffalo Exchange looking for something cheap and cheerful to wear to a party and was WISHING you would walk through the door and style me. Next time, I’ll give you fair warning.
Please do! We can do a shopping excursion post! I’d love that.
Here’s the rule for me: if they make you feel fab, then they’re fab. If they hurt or pinch or topple or make your sagging skin ruche, or would only look good with a mini skirt or short-shorts, then they’re MDAL.
Caveat: If they’re under twenty bucks, get ’em no matter what.
i have to say, at that price, i would have snagged it and then decided later if i would be wearing it around the house or out…
Love, big time. Ya little hottie.
I think they would be cute with full-length, straight leg jeans.
I just can’t go there anymore!
